Gold Tags

We use Ion Gold plated tags.  Ion Gold is an alloy formed when titanium nitride is added to the gold alloy for plating.  This results in the plating being harder, approximately 6 times harder then traditional gold alloy plating.

The tags themselves are composed of a layer of Ion Gold plated on top of palladium.  The palladium layer reinforces the gold plate, and covers a nickel layer and a brass core.

A simple disc.

The traditional shape of some of the first dog tags.  This is one of the smallest Dog Tag Companions and appears much like a common pendant, although just until we engrave it.
